Just revealed in the recent CES 2007 in Vegas is this cool home entertainment system made for the Star Wars fan ( me included! ) - a R2-D2 Robot! :



Cool features include :
- home-cinema projector (as in the movie droid)
- DVD & CD/MP3 player
- FM radio, audio speakers
- USB slot
- memory card reader
- iPod dock
- coolest remote control in the form of the Millennium Falcon. How cool is this?

Now I know where all my money goes.

La dee la... Karaoke in Shower with your mp3 player?

Yes, now you can! Check out this gadget that allows you to bring your music to the shower!


It is meant to be marketed as an accessory to the iPod player. But hey, so long as you can fit your mp3 player into it, I do not see why you cannot use for other mp3 player as well. So now you can have your favourite songs in the shower as well. This is supposed to be available at JC Penny. However, seems that the product is no longer available there last time I checked.

Samsung YP-T9B
Samsung has released this mp3 player which has bluetooth. Are they trying to create hype over bluetooth for mp3 players? Looks wise, I think it is nothing spectacular...

Also their latest release K5, an digital audio player which has a uber cool slide out speaker. This is a godsend for those who have always hated using earphones on their mp3 players!

Taiwanese MP3 player maker sues Apple

Seems like after the failed attempt by Apple to sue the taiwanese mp3 player maker, Luxpro has backfired! Originally, Apple has claimed that Luxpro's Tangent player is a total ripped off of Apple's first generation shuffle player. See the image below :

Apparently the Taiwanese court did not think so as the Luxpro player has FM radio and their logo out front. I do think they look suspiciously alike... the shape and the navigation. But i think the FM radio part must have made those players a winner! I sure wouldn't mind a FM radio on my shuffle!

So now, Luxpro is suing Apple for damages caused by Apple instead.

I am sure you have heard of this one. Now you can get download some free songs ( entire song! ) from here. However to be able to get hold of all of their 3 million songs, you need to subscribe but hey, they give you a 7 days trial!

You must think I am going to say YouTube or GoogleVideos. But hey, there is this website that compiled a list of all the music by the bands alphabetically of all the videos that featured the songs! Check this out :

The Wallatex mp3 player is so slim! It is only credit card sized, thin like a wafer. omg... I think I might even break it if I am not careful... No need to rush out to buy it now... cos it is only available in June 2007. The card skin can be customised and the memory size ranged from 128M to 2G.

Price? It's anyone's guess. But if it is priced low enough, I think this could make a nifty corporate gift!

A Cool Idea
Here we have an interesting MP3 player by PLEIO. What it does is to show the album cover on the player with just the circular display much like in the good old days of our CD player. However, it only has 128MB of memory, nothing to wow about.

I guess it is ok just for the novelty!
